Gel and Clot Activator Microtainer Tube
The Gel & Clot Activator Microtainer is coated with micronized Sillica particles, which induce rapid blood clotting. The gel barrier effectively separates the fibrin from the cells and impedes the exchange of substances between blood cells and serum.
It is used to maintain the original characteristics of blood and resolve hemolysis.
Notes:
Maintain the micro blood collection tube at a 30°-40° angle to the surface of the puncture site. Refrain from scraping the skin surface in order to obtain a blood sample. Blood will readily flow down the reservior wall to the bottom of the tube after 2 or 3 drops have been collected.
How to use Gel and Clot Activator:
- Fill tubes between the fill marks.
- Mix the additive and blood by gentle inversion 7-10 times.
