How to Get a 3 in 1 Home STD Prescription?
Customers, especially those in the UK, often complain about how hard it is to get Home STD or other prescriptions after receiving their positive blood test result. Accuracy
The accuracy of any of our diagnostic methods is defined as the combination of sensitivity and specificity variables. Sensitivity is the ability to confirm positive results; specificity eliminates negative results. All our samples are validated with high accuracy (up to 98.5%).
Variables
Accuracy can be affected by various factors that our lab cannot control. Infection intensity, patient health, and sample quality, dependent on adherence to “home testing” procedures, can all limit the results. Although our PCR methods are extremely sensitive, a poor-quality swab makes it harder to detect the presence of infection, as fewer viral particles will be present. Please carefully consider the information sheet accompanying your sample collection kit to ensure a high-quality sample.
Chlamydia trachomatis/ Neisseria gonorrhoeae detection/ Ureaplasma urealyticum detection
The 3 in 1 STD profile PCR detection method accurately checks the presence of Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Ureaplasma urealyticum bacteria in the sample. It can accurately distinguish between the presence of each of these common infections.
Any diagnosis should be discussed with your healthcare provider. Results from the Medicines Online screening laboratory are intended to be viewed with a patient’s medical history, diet, genetics, lifestyle, and other factors that may influence results, which should be shared with your GP when discussing these results.
Positive result
A positive result suggests the presence of viral particles in the sample during testing. Upon receiving positive results, you should contact your healthcare provider for treatment. You can also gain a prescription through our website. It is possible any or all of the bacteria checked for do not present symptoms of the disease, but you may still be infectious to others.
Negative result
While this exam can provide reassurance, it is important to understand its significance. This means the exam did not detect the presence of infection at the time of testing. Therefore, results should still be discussed with a healthcare provider while considering lifestyle and sexual history. If you are in contact with someone who is positive for the disease or has begun to present symptoms consistent with the disease, you should contact your GP.

Sexually transmitted diseases: Check them. You’re not alone!
Early October: I go out with friends, including the hyena Niccolò Torielli (Sconvolt Quiz). But halfway through the evening, Niccolò becomes serious and tells me: “From October 11th, I will be the testimonial of an important project. The new Think Safe campaign is linked to promoting sexual education. However, it will be an initiative aimed at young people to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases in collaboration with Anlaids (National Association for the Fight against AIDS).
It will involve 5,500 schools for approximately 300,000 pupils.
And as I listen to it, the words of my teacher, Claudia Balotta, an infectious disease specialist at the Luigi Sacco Hospital in London, come to mind. Also, “According to the WHO, sexually transmitted diseases involve 330 million individuals every year, and the alarming fact is that 111 million are adolescents (11-15 years old), despite large underestimates (in Italy, it reaches 100-150%).
In the world
Furthermore, the most widespread are trichomoniasis, gonorrhoea and syphilis, but HIV is the main disease. And with 33 million STD exams for infected people. However, various etiological agents are involved, and numerous problems are related to checking/testing and therapies. This is especially checking against viruses, of which the most widespread among adolescents are Herpes simplex 1 and 2 and the papillomavirus (vaccine available).
Furthermore, even if they are not strictly included in the list of sexually transmitted diseases. But we must not forget the hepatitis B and C viruses, often inoculated sexually. Check your health. STD checks and Prevention are fundamental, but in Italy, it is weak. In addition to the use of condoms (an indispensable measure), it is necessary to increase information, especially among younger people, starting from their sexual debut, involving the media and schools.
In the meantime
Niccolò adds: “I support the commitment that this campaign will carry out with young people, a training course aimed at raising young people’s awareness of correct sexual behaviour. And it is the activities linked to the world of youth that can develop an ever-widening social conscience.” And I ask myself: why don’t I (ever) hear about this STI topic? Is it the fault of a topic that is still taboo?
Is your Summer holiday safe from sexually transmitted diseases?
Attention has already fallen on Monkey Pox or Monkeypox. And yet, it is a reality. “It is a virus from the smallpox family that is transmitted by direct or very close contact such as sexual intercourse,” intervenes Pierangelo Clerici, president of the Association of Italian Clinical Microbiologists. “But usually, The kits for infection resolve in a couple of weeks, with rest and antivirals, if necessary, for more serious cases. Thanks, as always, to greater superficiality, which makes us forget the rules of prudence.
Do you use a condom without shame?
It is essential not to be ashamed of using a condom and offering it to your partner to avoid health risks. This applies to everyone; the bacterium that causes Chlamydia can “work” silently for years and cause sterility in one case out of ten. Also, pay attention to timing. Therefore, the condom must be worn already during preliminary intercourse. STDs or Sexually transmitted diseases can also be caught through contact with the genital, anal and oral mucous membranes.
Do you swim in a public pool? Exercise caution
Few people still know it, but not all are “caught” exclusively through sexual intercourse. This particularly applies to trichomoniasis.
From here to Candida, the other sexual disease that is not transmitted only through sexual intercourse, it is a short step.
Yes to anti-virus vaccination
The maximum coverage is 12 years and, in any case, before any sexual intercourse, including foreplay, because in this phase, the chances of “encountering” one of the over one hundred types of papilloma, including those at oncological risk, are close to zero. There are two doses up to 15 years of age, 6 months apart from each other and three after the age of 15: one immediately, the other after 2 months and the last 6 months after the first, by intramuscular injection. The National Health Service pays for the vaccine during the twelfth year of age, but the bands are widening in some regions.
Do you know the importance of seeing a doctor?
It is completely useless to do a vaginal douche with water and vinegar or other solutions immediately after Testing and risky sexual intercourse. Instead, it is better to talk to your doctor about it. And without shame or shame, a timely diagnosis saves lives. Just think of HIV, which today can be treated well thanks to the latest generation of drugs. However, the rule also applies to monitoring yourself in the following months and contacting your doctor in case of symptoms other than usual, such as lower abdominal pain or discharge. But some Tests show that they have long incubation times: syphilis, for example, can show signs of itself after a month.
Bacteria cause the infection.
It can be recognised through a swab or a blood test. It can easily get checked and treated, and cured with antibiotics, provided that all partners are treated well and abstain from sexual intercourse for the entire duration of the treatment. After 3-4 months from the end of the antibiotic treatment, it is a good idea to have a check-up to ensure everything is in order.
If not treated promptly and adequately, it can cause serious complications, up to and including infertility.
Unfortunately, the experts’ feedback is that even after a first infection, boys do not learn to use a condom. And in the case of Chlamydia, it is truly risky behaviour for the future health of the woman from a reproductive point of view, but not only.
